Are there any additional costs?
There may be an additional cost for electricity, depending on how much you use. We include the first 100 units free of charge, after that (if you go over this - which nobody has yet!) each unit will be charged at 11p per unit.
Do you allow smoking?
Smoking is not allowed in any of our properties. You may smoke outside with the doors shut, however we would ask you not to leave any litter from cigarettes on the ground. Please see our terms and conditions regarding smoking.
Can I bring my pet?
Unfortunately we cannot allow pets in any of our properties due to our close proximity to farm land. We do not allow pets to remain in cars so please do not bring them. There is an excellent kennel within 20 minutes drive.
What are the parking arrangements?
There is safe private parking at Kinnaird. Each property has one space allocated with additional spaces available on request. Owners of vehicles park on our land at their own risk and we will not be responsible for any damage to property.
Do I need a car?
Many guests arrive to us on foot. There are both train and bus timetables in our properties should you prefer not to travel by car. There are many walking trails in the area.
How far are you from town?
We are just under 2 miles from the centre of Pitlochry where you will find lots of restaurants and shops. Our local pub is less than a mile away.
Do you supply linen and towels?
Yes. We supply bath towels and a shower mat and hand towel for the shower room. All beds are made up freshly for your arrival. Please bring cot bedding if you have requested a cot.
Do I need to bring washing up liquid etc?
No. We supply the following as standard:- washing up liquid, dish washer tablets/powder, cling film. tin foil, dish cloths, sponges and brush, tea towels. salt and pepper. roll of toilet paper, bath mat, hand towel, hand wash. What a pain it would be if you had to bring all this stuff!
Do you have cots and high chairs?
Yes, and we don't charge for them. Please let us know in advance if you require either of these items. A baby bath is also available and we have a rocking chair and baby gym!
Is there a washing machine?
Yes. There is a washing machine just outside the cottage, 24hr access. Free of charge. There is a whirligig in the garden and an inside airer in the cottage.
