Our holiday cottage is located in Pitlochry, Perthshire, the geographical heart of
Scotland. We have lochs, rolling countryside, forests and mountain landscapes for you to enjoy. All just over an hours drive from Edinburgh or Glasgow and one and a half hours drive from Inverness.
Kinnaird Garden Cottage is perfectly positioned to access a wide range of attractions and places of outstanding natural beauty. So whether you want to simply wind down or explore further a field, you will find this the ideal base for touring Scotland.
There is a great choice of activities in the surrounding area including walking, golfing, mountain biking, water sports, angling and adventure sports.

Find us By Car
From the South (Edinburgh, Glasgow Stirling and Perth). From Perth follow the A9 northbound (signposted Inverness). Once you reach Pitlochry exit onto the A924 (signposted Pitlochry, Braemar). Drive into Pitlochry town centre and turn right onto the A924 (signposted Blairgowrie, Braemar). Drive out of Pitlochry, through Moulin and into Kinnaird village. The lodges can be found on the left-hand-side.
From the North (Inverness, Aviemore and Blair Atholl). Follow the A9 southbound (signposted Perth). Turn left (signposted Pitlochry, Braemar). Entering Pitlochry drive into Pitlochry town centre and turn left onto the A924 (signposted Blairgowrie, Braemar – opposite WHSmith). Drive out of Pitlochry, through Moulin and into Kinnaird village, approximately 2 miles in total from Pitlochry. Kinnaird House can be found on the left-hand-side, with the cottage to the rear.

By Train
Pitlochry is situated on the main London to Inverness train line and is accessed directly from all parts of the UK – London, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Kinnaird is less than 2 miles from Pitlochry train station. A taxi rank is situated just outside the station. If you can’t get a taxi, please give us a ring and we will come and pick you up.

By Bus
Pitlochry is on the main road between Perth and Inverness. This means that you can easily come here by bus from any of the major cities. We are located just 2 miles from the bus stop in central Pitlochry.
By Plane
Kinnaird is approximately an hour and a half from Edinburgh and Glasgow International airports. Flights are also available from Dundee and Inverness.
